Episode 83 - Critical Successes and Epic Failures

This week Chewie (of the Mana Pool) joins us to look back at some of the highs and lows of retro gaming. One of our absolute favorite games of the 1990s is now cheaply available for download, and we look back on some more great arcade games of the early 80's. Of course we have also reached the time to look back on some horrible business decisions that almost killed the home video game market before it really got started. Could someone take the worst fighting game ever and make a decent arcade game out of it now? Could you make your own arm-cannon for a Halloween costume? Are the motion controls of modern consoles really a new idea or are we doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past? Tune in to find out!
